Our Management

Abe Goldberg
 is the founder, and Managing Director of Executive Search Resources, Inc.  Before starting his own executive search firm, Abe was a top producer at Sanford Rose Associates-Santee, a nationally recognized recruiting agency. Abe has been awarded the
Certified Personnel Consultant Certification (CPC).

Abe has over 25 years of sales and management experience, including 13 years in the enterprise software market. His background includes eight years with Mobius Management Systems, Inc., a leading provider of enterprise content management software. During the span of his career at Mobius, Abe's responsibilities included territory sales, major accounts and management. Abe successfully recruited some of Mobius' top performers and developed winning teams. Some of his many accomplishments include large strategic sales, "Rookie of the Year", and finishing #1 as Western Area Director of Sales.

Abe also served as Vice President of Sales at Parago, Inc., a venture capital backed start-up founded in 1999, and currently a leading provider of promotional marketing services.  Abe was recruited to Parago, and during his five-year term became a member of the Executive Team that provided leadership and direction to the company. During his tenure, Abe recruited and groomed Parago's top sales performers, and helped the company achieve over $40 million in revenue which led to their ultimate profitability.


CPC Certification:

What are CPC and CTS certifications?

Certified Personnel Consultant (CPC) and Certified Temporary-Staffing Specialist (CTS) are professional designations awarded by the National Association of Personnel Services (NAPS) to members in the Personnel Consulting field. The certifications are designed to increase the professional level of consultants and develop standards accepted by the industry as well as in the business community.


Certification is viewed in the industry and business community as a seal of excellence. It signifies an individual's extensive knowledge of employment laws, changing regulations, and agency operations. By earning these certifications, a placement consultant has demonstrated their dedication to the placement industry and commitment to the following ethical business practices.


How are CPC and CTS certifications awarded?

A written examination requires the placement consultant to demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of general agency operations, state and federal laws, and regulations applicable to the employment profession. To quality for certification, an individual must be currently employed in the industry and have a minimum of two years experience as a placement consultant. The designation can only be granted to individuals; no firm can claim that it is a CPC or CTS firm.

 

What does CPC or CTS mean to you?

To the client, it assures quality service from a true placement professional. To the individual who achieves it, CPC or CTS certification is a symbol of professionalism and accomplishment. Individuals who successfully complete the examination can proudly display CPC or CTS after their name to symbolize their commitment to the staffing industry and knowledge of the laws that govern it.
